After registration

You've registered your trademark. Now what?

We provide yearly monitoring of your mark that covers the USPTO, state and other common-law databases. Our mission is to continuously search for and identify applications, uses or confusingly similar brands that infringe, or pose a risk of infringing, your registered mark.

Keeping track of trademark renewal deadlines can be cumbersome. Let us send you reminders when it's time to renew your registration, or handle the filings for you.

Two plans

One flat fee paid yearly, cancel anytime

Plan 1

Trademark Monitoring & Renewal Reminders

$299 per year

  • Quarterly reports each year from the USPTO database
  • A common-law search of the internet for similar marks, each quarter
  • Renewal reminders ahead of every deadline
Let's get started

Our representation does not begin and there is no attorney-client relationship until both the engagement letter is signed and payment is received.

Good to know

Why maintenance matters

How long does a registration last?

A federal registration lasts 10 years and can be renewed indefinitely while the mark stays in use. A declaration of continued use is due between the fifth and sixth year, and a renewal every 10 years. Miss a deadline and the registration is canceled.

Why monitor if I am already registered?

The USPTO does not police your mark for you. Confusingly similar applications and uses can take root unnoticed, and the longer they go unchallenged, the harder and more expensive they are to stop. Regular monitoring lets you act early, with an opposition or a cease and desist letter.

Can I cancel?

Yes. Both plans are a flat fee paid yearly and you can cancel at any time.
